All Download Links [and guide] For WoW Client/Patches/Expansion
Download the full 1.0 client Here via the official http://www.worldofwarcraft.com website [you can simply go to the free trial link and choose direct download "if you already signed up for free trial" if this link is dead for some reason].

Otherwise you can try torrenting On TorrentSpy. This is the enUS version. Dont download the patches included. Waste of bandwidth.

Download the expansion with This official downloader. Works just like a patch downloader. It's roughly half the size of the current DVD ISO copies on torrents so I wont even mention those.

After all that, determine what server you want to connect to. 1.12.x? Then u need the 1.12.0 standalone patch. You might be able to auto update once to get 1.12.0 [u have to upgrade to 1.12.0 to get to 2.0.1 so 1.12.0 should be first patch]. In order to auto update just try loging into the offical WoW server [unedited realmlist.wtf], even with bogus info it will still download the latest updates.

Manual download of updates can be downloaded from the official Blizzard website Here
It has the following patches [at time of posting]:
1.12.0 standalone
1.12.x-2.0.1
2.0.x-2.0.3
2.0.3-2.0.7
2.0.7-2.0.8

If ur playing 1.12.x Stop here and install the 1.12.1 patch for 1.12.x servers. You can get that Here

The Burning Crusade Expansion Update
You automatically start out at 2.0.0 [this is NOT 2.0.1 and it calls itself something else, not 2.0.0 but for this guides sake lets consider it 2.0.0]. You can autoupdate immediately to 2.0.3.

Yet if you downloaded the 2.0.1-2.0.3 patch [WoW_2.0.3_enUS_patch.exe] it wont work [??? It didnt for me.. Maybe the 2.0.x-2.0.3 is different]. From here you need to patch manually from 2.0.3 to 2.0.6 or just keep auto updating if the server supports the latest version [doubt it. right now 2.0.8 is latest. 2.0.6 is highest supported].

Download 2.0.3-2.0.5 patch from Here
Download 2.0.5-2.0.6 patch from Here
#########################################3
After all that, you are ready to connect to a server.

-Signup for an account via their website (usually same ip and on default port80 port so just put the port in the webbrowser)
-Browse to your WoW folder, open realmlist.wtf, change its contents to:
set realmlist 127.0.0.1

127.0.0.1 is what u need for running a server on your own computer. else replace it with the ip of the remote server.

That's it! Run WoW and login!

Wow... That took a whole hour to do all that. That's sad. Hope It comes to some good use.
